RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Provide basic administrative assistance to two offices that includes correspondence and scheduling.
Development, implement and administer policies and programs in the areas of compensation and benefits, employment, employee relations, human resources information systems, management development and training and organization development.
- Ensures that HR administration, including employee files and new hire orientations meet US standards
- Develop and ensure performance reviews are completed in a timely manner.
- Oversees development and maintenance of employee polices and procedures for India and US office.
- Screens all new hires and coordinates and manages all personnel files and functions.
- Reviews and updates the Employee Handbook on an annual basis or as needed.
- Administers all employee benefits and coordinates annual plan renewals.
- Review client and vendor contracts.
- Resolve employee conflicts and issues and perform evaluations for US and India offices.
- Work with legal advisors.
- Review, recommend and oversee the implementation of organizational effectiveness tools/programs that will create a high performance culture and help attract and retain top talent.
- Keep record of vacation and time out of office
- Coordinate staff meetings
 
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 - 7 as an Executive Assistant or Office Manager
- Bachelor's Degree, in business or other related field preferred or experience necessary
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office/Windows required, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to multi-task and operate in an environment of frequently changing priorities
- Recruiting and hiring skills and experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Dedicated self-starter
- Quick learner
- Ability to lead in a team environment
- Basic bookkeeping experience
- Great attitude

CNI has a need for a Data Mining Engineer.

Job Functions:
- Architect and design applications that are standards-based
- Determine which data mining technology combinations to use to solve specific business problems
- Assume ownership of data mining modeling strategy, delivery and success
- Develop extensible, scalable, reliable software
- Interact with other teams to define interfaces and understand dependencies
- Write detailed technical documents
- Understand and affect the product direction

Required skills:
- Data Mining, Machine Learning technologies, modeling, tuning, testing and interfaces expertise
- Experience working on systems used to provide customer relationship management or targeting functions
- Familiarity with software development life cycle
- Good understanding of algorithms, data structures, performance optimization techniques, and object-oriented programming
- Good programming skills in C++, PERL and Java (J2EE) in a UNIX/Linux environment
- Strong skills in algorithms and working with large volumes of data
- Database access methodologies experience
- Integration Standards (XML-centric) experience
- Strong skills in statistical analysis of large quantities of scientific measurement data, deep knowledge of relevant metrics for real-time systems, and a good understanding of data mining techniques.
- Experience with medical data is a plus.

Educational requirements:
MS/PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physical Sciences or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred

Crawler Software Engineer

CNI is looking for an experienced software engineer to develop and manage our industry-leading web crawler technology. Our Crawl Engineering team is responsible for retrieving the highest quality content from the web, engineering scalable storage solutions for large content repositories, and building data interfaces that allow CNI to make sense of the retrieved content. You will work with highly motivated engineers to design reliable, high performance systems capable of collecting and managing massive amounts of web content. This position calls for an innovative C++ programmer to apply strong analytical skills to problems such as distributed system design and performance analysis, system monitors and control interfaces, storage management for hundred-plus Terabyte data sets, and software infrastructure development.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years C++

  • 2+ years Python or Perl

  • Comfortable in a Linux/UNIX environment

  • Highly motivated and capable of independent research and development

  • MA/MS degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent field

  • Knowledge of distributed systems development and large scale data management a definite plus
